I had to prepare myself for this! I've always been pretty afraid of water. I've spent the last few months going to the pool to work on my water anxiety so that I could take this pack rafting swift water rescue course. I was pretty terrified to do this. I was able to do it because if my loving support, the motivation of being on the water, and a lot of stress response awareness and work. Wow. After spending the first hours on site purposefully throwing ourselves in rapids, I was still afraid to run them. As soon as I followed the instructor into that first rapid, I was grinning. So much fun and worth the work! @ovaltech, you were right.
Happy birthday to my favorite little buddy!
@indy_montoya joined me for the @yoga_medicine #MarchMentalHealthChallenge today. It appears I need two bolsters! I'm loving the line up so far! Great classes with @dianemalaspinayoga @tiffanycruikshank and @valerie.knopik. I'm excited to see what the rest of the week will bring! This challenge is helping move through the 20 in 40 with @listen_and_know. So much March inspiration! Thank you all for keeping me on my mat!
Beach + #lloyddogler = JOY!
I've been dealing with knee pain, so I've been taking a break from the bike. I miss it, but I'm also enjoying my time on foot. I don't go as far, but I go slowly and I can have #lloyddogler by my side (or somewhere behind me sniffing around).
Such joy! ❤️
